Dear Shambhala Friends,

Warm greetings to all of you as we approach Harvest of Peace. This seasonal transition, the autumn equinox in the northern hemisphere and spring in the southern hemisphere, occurs officially on September 21st this year. Since the equinox falls on a Tuesday, many Centres and Groups may choose to hold events on either Saturday, Sept 18th or Sunday, Sept 19th. You can check with your local Center or Groups for details about any local festivities they may be holding.

Shambhala Global Services and Shambhala Online are offering a one hour Harvest of Peace themed Sunday Gathering for the global community on:

Join the Touching the Earth Collective for a Global Celebration of Harvest of Peace

You are warmly invited to join us on this special day for a lhasang and other festivities: some simple and some elaborate, a family song, and a fabulous food feast – gestures of the heart. We will gather as if for a “Homecoming”, welcoming all! We celebrate as the summer wanes and autumn yields its peaches, or, in the global south, as the winter wanes and the spring shows her vibrant chartreuse leaves, each of us appreciating this planetary moment of change in the natural world.
